n Lesson 2, we started or filed a new case. Now we’d like to focus on how to file on an existing case. There are a few ways of beginning this process, so we are going to point out each option, then do an example filing on that existing case the you started in our system, and finally file on an existing case that we have to retrieve from the Court’s system.
Now that you’ve learned to e-file new cases, and on existing cases, we like to demonstrate a 3rd function of the e-filing system that actually allows you to submit your documents to have them electronically served on those service contacts attached to a case via a Serve Only Filing. In doing so, we’ll also review how you can manage service add service contacts, attach and detach them from cases, and then monitor the status of electronic service in our system.
