Starting on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Permissive e-filing will be available for all attorneys and self-represented litigants in the Alameda Superior Court for Civil Cases. It will become mandatory for all attorneys on January 1, 2022. Self-represented litigants will not be required to file documents electronically at that time but will be encouraged to do so.
